U of W x Wesmen Athletics Mural

HLF partnered with the University of Winnipeg and Wesmen Athletics to honour two Indigenous student-athletes and community leaders with a mural installation as a part of Truth and Reconciliation Day and Nuit Blanche Winnipeg 2022.

Mural Unveiling Ceremony

HLF celebrated the unveiling with a community smudge held by CommUNITY.204 and Sabe Peace Walkers and a free lunch provided by Deeks Dog House on Friday, September 23.

Nuit Blanche Paint Night

We invited attendees and students to enjoy a night of painting, good eats, and a chance to connect on Saturday, September 24.
