Nearly 1/3 of Manitoba’s population have had some form of mental illness.

Mental Health issues are increasing significantly, notably among adolescents.

1/2 of Canadians with mental illness don’t get the treatment they need.

The problem is in 3 areas:
Reactive
There is a lack of education on mental health. People deal with symptoms as they come.
Isolation
There are a lot of obstacles for people to get mental health treatment and education.
Stigma
Conversations about mental health are limited. People on a scale with languishing in the middle.
